The first Google Store in London

Google has opened it's first store in London - in PC World in Tottenham Court Road. Unlike the hugely hyped launch of the first Apple Store in Regent Street, very few customers were even aware of the Google shop - officially known as "the Chromezone" - and there were certainly no queues round the block.

Google Analytics - better site performance tab

Google Analytics updated the site performance section of this tool. Now it gives more information about pages performance. You'll find the Site Speed report in the Content section of the new Google Analytics.

Social media tracking like Facebook in Google Analytics

Google Analytics does not enable social tracking by default (apart from +1 social interaction). It is however relatively easy to enable this functionality and benefit from these statistic information.

New sitelinks layout in Google

Google released another update to their search engine. This time it's the sitelinks section. Previously, it was a list of sitelinks right under webpage link. Now, below each sitelink there is also a description. It should help users to find the right page faster. Disadvantage is that it takes so much space and can have a negative effect on other search results pushing them down.
