New sitelinks layout in Google

Google released another update to their search engine. This time it's the sitelinks section. Previously, it was a list of sitelinks right under webpage link. Now, below each sitelink there is also a description. It should help users to find the right page faster. Disadvantage is that it takes so much space and can have a negative effect on other search results pushing them down.

A new way of submitting URLs to Google

Seems like Google is listening to it's users. This time Webmaster Tools received additional and very useful functionality - ability to submit URLs directly from Fetch as Googlebot page.

I have used this function today and it's such a useful feature. It helps a lot if a website is often updated - i.e. when adding new pages. More to read a:
